So this page will collect some of the organisations which I encountered on my visits to Ukraine. I can assure that these organisations are legit and 100% of the money donated will be given to the people who need it the most.

On a side note: Even small contributions are highly appreciated. Especially if it is a recurring donation. Of course, the bigger the amount the better. But better donate small amounts regularly than one big amount just once. Ukrainians will be happy about any amounts anyway ;)

This project aims to buy and send first aid kits to Ukraine. These kits are required to make injured soldiers survive their wounds and can literally save lives. It is organised by a coworker of Tania, who is the only person on this list I do not know myself. It is the most defensive project on my list, I would say. Money will not go to weapons but only to medical equipment. Updates can be found on her Instagram channels.

2 Victory engines

Victory engines is all about buying cheap 4x4 cars in Europe, repairing them, gearing them up and send them to the frontlines. They need money for buying used cars, tools and car parts. Those cars will be used to commute, evacuate, provide logistics etc. It is neither offensive nor defensive, I would say. The project is led by three Ukrainians, of which two I know personally: Yura and Volodia. They are friends of Tania for multiple years, now. They keep us updated on their work on their Instagram channel.

3 Drones

Drones became one of the most important factors in Ukraine war over the last year. They replace artillery munitions, the west is not able or willing to provide. Without drones, the front is likely to have collapsed already. Drones are used in the following ways:

Ukrainians receive drones from other states, produce them in large scales in their factories but also, a large movement has emerged under the civilians to just build them themselves in the living room and then sending them to a official organisation, which tests these drones and then sends them to the frontlines.

I know around 5 people who do this. One of them is Marta, who is linked above. Her uncle is fighting on the frontlines and she provides his unit directly with drones. She also collects for cars. She is willing to give feedback on every single donation that was made to her. You can ask for that in Instagram. She also appreciated a lot being on this list and said it is always very moving to see foreigners care for Ukraine.
